Summer band is a wonderful opportunity to have
fun, meet new friends, and learn an instrument all at the same time!

student at this event!
Beginning Band Mandatory Instrument Testing Days At Johnson Middle School
Please Attend One Day between 6-7pm :
Thursday June 6th, or Friday
June7th
If you are a beginning band student
YOU MUST BE TESTED before you begin band camp. This
will ensure that you are able to acquire an instrument and
start learning music on the first day of camp.
Please understand that your child must be tested on each band instrument; This will identify the instrument(s) that your child has the most natural aptitude for. Picking an instrument based on personal preference often leads to slowed progress during the school year. This is why I will work closely with each family to find the best option for their child.
